Event Media is a web and graphic design house based in Kilkenny, Ireland. We are designers, design lovers, bloggers, podcasters, musicians, writers, producers and more and we combine these elements to easy to use and affordable creative media solutions for our clients and friends.
What We Do
We do a lot of things at Event Media. First and foremost we design and develop websites for businesses of all shapes and sizes. We’ve been doing so since 2005 and in that time we’ve also designed a lot of logos, brochures, posters, flyers, advertisements and more.
Our core business is in web design and development, whether it’s revamping an existing web presence or coming up with something from scratch, we continue to work with all kinds of businesses and groups to get them established online. We’ll take care of the domain registration, hosting, design, development, maintenance, training and we’ll try and do it all within your own budget to meet your own online needs.

What We Don’t Do
We don’t do miracles. A website isn’t the be all and end all for your business. It is something that, when managed effectively, can help your business or group to grow, but it takes time and takes commitment. While we don’t offer miracles as a service, we can provide you with the knowledge and tools to help get you started.
Why We Do It
We do it for the love of the internet, for the love of business, for the love of design. We do it to help organisations grow online. We do it because nothing beats seeing the smile on a client or customers face when they’ve made the first sale from their website. We do it because we’re passionate about all things online. It’s what drives us to get up early in the morning and work late into the night. Except on weekends. We like to take those off, where possible.
How We Got Here
In July 2005, a certificate arrived in the post welcoming Event Ireland into the business world. Focusing on web design and online marketing, the business grew quickly and began hiring within six months.
Gradually we moved away from online marketing, putting more focus on the web and graphic design side of the business. He helped to launch hotels, auctioneers, art galleries, guesthouses, theatre companies and more online.
In 2009, the we realigned our existing services, brought in some new ones to keep us on our toes and rebranded to Event Media with a strong focus on creative media solutions, both online and offline.
At heart, we’re still very much a web design company but through incorporating early spin-off enterprises and strategic partnerships with other local creatives, we continue to provide a large range of web design, graphic design, logo design, branding services, training courses, podcast production services and a whole host more.

As co-founder of Event Ireland and founder and owner of Event Media, Ken has been providing web design services for companies here and abroad since 1999.
He is also involved in the running of Kilkenny Music, a non-profit music promotions group based in Kilkenny; The Devious Theatre Company, an award-winning theatre company operating out of Kilkenny and Rewind PR, a new digital services wing of Event Media which aims to promote independent musicians operating within Ireland.
